The target was to make a fast and responsive machine to match a havier and powerfull rider for shorter but intensive ride courses

In order to maintain desired frame stiffness, we went for a custom mix of super oversized steel tubes from Columbus SPIRIT, HSS, and Zona.

To bring more comfort and control to the ride bike is equipped with hydraulic disc brakes and 28c tires.

Additional custom options: Fully internal cable routing and stainless steel EQ original dropouts.

The paint job is a replica of Cadel Evans Ltd.edition BMC team machine.

Definitely, the smallest frame I made so far it has only 480mm horizontal top tube, but by knowing all dimensions of the rider it was possible to create the frame without toe overlap and with a proper front end handling.

Mrs.N wanted to have maximum comfort and longevity to her frame that's why tubing choice is Columbus XCR known for its superior shock absorption, anti-rust properties, and exceptional strength. Also, Concave bent seat stays adding up more rear-end suspension for dampening road vibration and increasing control over cornering, long descents, etc.

Additional custom options: concave bent seat stays, Di2 internal routing, EQ custom stainless dropouts.

Mr.K is a returning customer, his first frame was a custom road frame now he wanted something he could take off-road on unpaved terrain. Every year he puts on a lot of miles and precisely knows what kind of ride he's looking for.

His request was to have the most stable frame possible cause he's going to climb and descent on technical gravel courses.

By experimenting with all possible steel tubing diameters, configuration and stiffness I've already pinned down our special tubing mix and geometry for all-terrain bikes, so it was easy to follow his call.

EQ gravel grinder concept is pretty simple: construct the bottom part of the frame with large volume tubes for rigidity and control and top part of the frame make as compliant as possible for shock absorption and increased rear-wheel traction. Coupled with endurance-type geometry it will make for extremely confident riding bikes in any extreme situations.

Of cause big tires, thru-axles, and hydraulic disc brakes will greatly contribute to the ride quality.
