The main concept for William's bike was to make it comfortable for longer rides with stable and predictable handling but with fast acceleration and good ability to climb.
After few years of building and riding the bikes I have arrived to original recipe for that kind of bike
and it was pretty straight forward to decide the geometry measurements like, slightly lower BB drop, longer chain stay, front trail etc. The drop and reach of the frame was determined by the rider's position that we figured out during the fitting session in the very beginning of the process.
The frame's front triangle composed with seamless outer butted 3/2.5 titanium alloy selected from the best manufacturers in USA, outer butting considerably lower the weight of the frame and give it agile and responsive characteristics.
Chain and seat stays composed with Reynolds 3/2.5 titanium alloy as well.
"Paragon machine works" tapered head tube for external Chris King head set is a perfect match to
moderate diameter tubing without bulking up the whole build.
Hand smoothed welding joints now is a distinct feature on most EQUILIBRIUM titanium frames
The frame came out in astonishing 1190g only !
For the finish we decided to go with anodizing on the down tube logo and highlights and some personalized details mixed with a bead blasting.
